The Ultimate Millennials Mother’s Day Guide

Moms are rockstars. They are selfless heroes, the queens of multitasking, and wear SO many hats. They deserve all the love and then some!

In case you’re looking to treat a millennial mom in your life, I have compiled a list of my favorite Mother’s Day gift ideas so you can show her how much you appreciate her.

I have personally purchased several of these items myself and can attest they are a lot of fun! There are also a few items in here that are on my wish list (hint hint). Whether you are shopping for a friend, your wife, or heck, even yourself, I hope you find this list helpful. I personally love a mix of practical and fun! Everyone's mom values a practical cast iron pan or new baskets to organize her home, but don’t forget that she still loves to paint her nails and look cute with a new bag!

The list below has a little bit of everything— essentials AND fun. So go ahead and treat her or YOU!

1. Toxic Free Nail Polish

I LOVE this brand of polish and it comes in a variety of fun colors. Not only is this polish safer but also is better for the environment. This polish is long lasting and works as well if not better than other name brand polishes.

2. Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven

Speaking of practical gifts, this one is perfect for the mama who loves to cook and tend to her family. Not only is enamel safer than non-stick (click here to check out why and then you’ll want to ditch your non-stick pans), but it also cooks really well. Plus this white enamel is oh so stylish! Personally, this is at the top of my Mother’s Day wish list (hint hint, Craig).

3. The Birth Poster

I have been eyeing these posters since Porter was born and I am really hoping to get my hands on one of these! These posters are a stylish and sleek way to remember all the sweet details of your baby’s birth story. The Birth Poster is a series of unique and timeless illustrations that are scaled to represent the baby's actual length at birth in a 1:1 scale.

4. Wristlet KeyChain

This cute, eye-catching accessory is a fun little happy at an affordable price!

5. Seagrass Baskets

I have honestly never met a mama who didn’t love a good basket, and I’m a believer that you can’t have too many! I use these trendy, seagrass baskets for Porter’s toys and for plants. I also love using these as gift bags for gifts! Ditch the plastic bag and stage her present inside of this versatile basket that she will be able to use around the house.

6. Chemex Coffee Maker

I LOVE my Chemex. I mean, coffee is seriously my mom's fuel. So if the mama in your life is the same way, help her ditch the toxic plastic coffee maker with a glass Chemex instead.

7. BeautyCounter Lip Trio Set

Give the gift of CLEAN beauty to your mama. Did you know heavy metals are found in the lipsticks/lip glosses we use everyday? You can learn more about that here. Give her a lipgloss and lipstick that is safe, screened for metals and harmful toxins and yet looks awesome! Let her feel extra pretty with some of these clean beauty essentials.

8. The Wellness Mama Cookbook

Katie with the Wellness Mama is my favorite! I love learning from her and her cookbook is filled with 200+ delicious recipes that our family loves (and I know yours will too!).

9. Fellow Kettle

Treat her to this BEAUTIFUL electric kettle. The matte finish on this thing is just gorgeous— countertop eye-candy for sure. If you have a coffee or tea lover on your hands, treat her to this pretty little kettle to brighten her mornings.

10. Ceramic Porter Mug

I LOVE this brand of household products! They make sleek, stylish and environmentally friendly goodies. Their whole mission is to reduce single-use plastics, packaging, and waste by replacing them with eye-catching ceramic and silicone to-go options. Each Porter Bowl purchase supports food education in public schools through W&P’s partnership with Edible Schoolyard NYC.

11. Silk Pillowcase

I used to think this was weird, but don’t knock something until you try it! I have truly fallen in love with my silk pillow case because I no longer wake up with knots/frizz in my hair. It’s a miracle!

12. BeautyCounter’s Overnight Resurfacing Peel

Bring the spa to her. This peel is a perfect self care item for every mama. It brightens, tones and evens skin tones. It also helps with fine lines and wrinkles. I couldn't recommend this product enough for all mamas who want to treat their face to a little love!

13. Purobello Tweezer Set

Raise your hand if you ever “borrowed” your mom’s tweezers and then never gave them back? Well then you need to buy this stylish pack of four for her.

14. Kate Spade Lunch Tote

This is for the working mamas! She will proudly carry her sandwich to work in this adorable Kate Spade. Not only does it have a cute pattern on the outside with an "Out to Lunch" motto, it also is easy to wipe down in case of spills. It'll also keep her lunch cold with an insulated lining.

15. Vitruvi Stone Diffuser

This hand crafted ceramic diffuser is designed out of the highest quality porcelain. We have two of these in our home and I can not get over how beautiful they look on the counter or on a table. The beautiful matte ceramic finish is unique, sophisticated and can fit into any space.

16. Ana Luisa “Mama” Necklace

Treat the mamas in your life to the piece of jewelry they deserve with this gold mama necklace designed by actress and new mom Daniella Monet. I love how dainty and beautiful this piece is.

17. BeautyCounter’s Charcoal Mask

This is my FAVORITE self care item. If I was stranded on an island I would seriously request I bring this mask with me. It detoxes and pulls out toxins that get built up in your pores and it also purifies and soothes at the same time. Every mama needs some self care after taking care of littles and I couldn’t recommend this product more.

18. Colorfulkoala Women's High Waisted Yoga Pants

You are welcome for this one! Hands down the BEST leggings at this price point. They are comparable or, dare I say, better than the Lululemon Wunder pants. They are squat proof, durable and sooooo comfortable. I could sing these pants highest praises and want every color. I will say they run a tad big, so size down!

19. Cross Band Soft Plus Slippers

Another item at the top of my list are these cute slippers! Living in a cold climate, I always wear my slippers around the house yet still want to look cute! I love how affordable they are as well.

20. Blue Light Glasses

Let's be real, most millennial mamas are running some kind of business, blog, or doing work from her phone/computer all day. Help her protect those eyes with these stylish glasses.

21. Round Woven Tote Bag

This bag is perfect for a beach or pool day. I love the shape and texture and how it is so versatile with any outfit! You can dress this tote up or down!

22. Kitchen Dryer Rack

Okay, am I getting to practical here? Maybe it is just me, but gifts that I can use in my home everyday that are practical and pretty are my favorite! I love keeping my kitchen counters clean, so having a piece like this in my home does just the trick! Unlike most products on the market, it is one of a kind large dish drying rack with a wooden handle that's gentle on touch, easy to manipulate and aesthetically pleasing. You can also use it to hang kitchen cloths.

23. Mapiful Poster

Design your own personalized map of anywhere on earth! Every curve of the world is accessible with their editor. Tell your story in a tasteful and creative way. I personally designed a map of the night sky over Nashville, TN the night Porter was born and its such a beautiful way to remember his birthday. It also makes a killer decor piece for your home.

24. Welch Candles (Non-Toxic Candles!)

Welch Candles are the only candles I will burn in our home. Their trusted screening process for heavy metals in their wicks and commitment to only using the purest beeswax is unparalleled. I love supporting this trusted small shop! Give her the gift of a clean, non-toxic candle that will bring coziness to her home without any worries of harmful fragrances or chemicals. Learn more on why to ditch scented candles here.

Moms give so much day in and day out (pregnancy and childbirth just for starters!) and certainly deserve to be celebrated. Shower her with your love and gratitude this Mother’s day by treating her to some of these awesome goodies!
